Congressional Candidate Clayburn Griffin to Host 'Meet and Greet' at Lea County Museum
LOVINGTON, NM - Republican congressional candidate, Clayburn Griffin will be hosting a meet and greet at the Lea County Museum in Lovington, NM. Voters will have a chance to discuss the issues with him as they gather information on each candidate before casting their vote in the Republican primary later this year. Refreshments will be provided.
The event will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 1st in the Town Hall at 114 E. Central Ave. Guests are encouraged to visit the Lea County Museum beforehand and learn about the intriguing history of the local area. Many years ago, Griffin volunteered at the museum while attending Lovington High School, and still today it remains a special place to him for those memories and the value it has provided the community over its many years of operation.
Griffin declared his candidacy earlier this month by stating his intention to bring compassionate conservatism back to the Republican Party. The Lea County Museum event will focus heavily on issues of the economy and personal liberty, but Griffin plans to speak to individual guests about the issues important to them. "The best part of campaigning is meeting with real voters and hearing about what matters most to them," Griffin said. "I think a lot of us are fed up with the current state of our political system, and I hope I can offer a fresh, positive voice to our national discussion."
